After being asked by ITV to give my opinion on the latest release Shoot on sight, i felt further analysis would only be fair. Initally the movie started and i was gripped to the edge of my seat and was eagerly anticipating further action, as the film went on you would have felt the story line would unfold but in fairness this never materialized.

I felt this film like most of these movies set out to give show muslims in a good light did quite the opposite, there wasn't enough positive muslim role models in the movie to reflect the many positive muslims we have in the UK today, i cant help but express my desire for movies like this which go 'mainstream' to do some good for the muslim community in the uk instead of aiming purely to be the next box office blockbuster.
